Who we are

Bookify is operated by Skiwo AS (org. 916 636 660), Pilestredet 17, 0164 Oslo, Norway. Skiwo AS is the data controller for personal data processed through Bookify.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate Bookify:

• Email address — used for passwordless sign-in (magic link) and to identify your account.
• Booking and payout data — descriptions, rates, and hours you enter when creating bookings.
• PayoutPartner API credentials — if you enter sandbox API keys in Settings, they are stored to connect your account to PayoutPartner.

We do not collect analytics, tracking cookies, or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.

How we use your data

• To authenticate you via magic link email
• To display your bookings, freelancers, and payouts
• To communicate with the PayoutPartner API on your behalf
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties other than PayoutPartner (as required to process payouts)

Cookies

Bookify uses a single session cookie ( _bookify_app_session ) to keep you signed in. This is a functional cookie required for the app to work. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookies.

Data storage and security

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Heroku (AWS EU region). All connections use TLS encryption. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability
